TASA Bee Stingers Netball League started on the 4th October with 10 teams taking part in the competition.
After another full day of rain we were lucky that it stopped just before the league started!!!
Teams from Tarleton Holy Trinity, Tarleton Community, Tarleton Mere Brow, Holmeswood, Banks Methodist, Banks St Stephens, Hesketh with Becconsall, Rufford and Bretherton Endowed took part in the first week of the league and played 5 rounds of games.
Bee Stingers is game for both boys and girls with children rotating in different positions so they experience all parts of the game.
All the teams showed great enthusiasm and determination which showed in all the games played. Also considering they haven't had a long time to practice with it being a new start of the year so well done to all the children who got involved.
As always thanks for the support from the staff from schools and the parents who come to give their children support.
