Sports Council is an exciting opportunity for Year 5 children who have a keen interest in PE and Sport.
2 Sports Councillors are nominated by their school to represent them at our Sports Council Meetings. West Lancashire Sport Partnership hold 5 meetings with the Sports Councillors throughout the school year to discuss how to improve and engage their school in PE and Sport. Sports Councillors are also provided with a small amount of funding to act upon these improvements.
Due to covid-19 our Sports Council meetings will be held virtually over zoom, until further notice.

Our 2022-23 NEW Sports Councillors got together on Monday to meet one another and their first task waas to start and create a reward sticker that our WLSP specialists can use in primary schools across West Lancashire.
Look forward to seeing some of the reward sticker designs the children have started to make!
